| Obtained her Ph.D. from Brown University in 1997 and followed by postdoc at Harvard Medical School before joining PUMC in 2003. Her research is to elucidate molecular pathogenesis of RNA viruses such as SARS-CoV, Avian Flu, Influenza, HIV, HCV, EV71, and Ebola. Dr. Jiang has published extensively in numerous peer reviewed journals including Nature, Nature Medicine, Cell, and PNAS. She is also an inventor of a number of international patents. Some of the patents are exclusively licensed to a top 5 international pharmaceutical company and an international biotech company. She has served as member of the WHO International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) fellowship committee and as the chairwoman in the year of 2007/2008. She is also the vice editor-in-chief of "Science in China" and associate editor of several journals including Journal of Molecular and Cell Biology. |
