| Dr. Daniela Pisoiu is Senior Researcher at the Austrian Institute for International Affairs with a PhD from the University of St Andrews, Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence. She has been researching on the topics of radicalisation, Islamist and right-wing extremism and terrorism in Europe and in Germany and Austria in particular, counterterrorism, and PVE/CVE for more than 10 years. She is member of the Radicalisation Awareness Network (EU) editorial board, author of Islamist Radicalisation in Europe: An Occupational Change Process, co-author of Theories of Terrorism. Co-editor of Contemporary Debates on Terrorism and editor of Arguing Counterterrorism: New Perspectives, among others. |
