| Erzen Shkololli lives and works in Prishtina and Berlin. Through his work, Shkololli acts as an instinctive and biased anthropologist, re-enacting traditional ceremonies and utilizing local rituals and folklore to draw atten-tion to socio-political situations, while insinuating contemporary symbols and disillusion. Shkololli is also well known as an active mediator and organizer of the inter- and intra-cultural dialogue between Kosovo and the international art world, as well as within Kosovo itself. Since 2003 he has been a member of the European Cultural Parliament. |
