He is also an Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Supervisor General of the King Abdulaziz Public Library in Riyadh. | |
He served as a Board member to several prestigious organizations, for instance, UNESCO and the Board of the Foundation Du Roi Abdulaziz Al-Saud Pour Les Etudes Islamiques et les Sciences Humanes in Casablanca, Morocco. | |
Since 2009 Faisal bin Muaammar has been an influential Board Member of the World Scout Foundation, where he has passionately supported "non-formal" education as a means of developing leadership ability for young boys and girls. In addition, he was instrumental in promo- ting a project called "Messengers of Peace" which is a unique initiative to harness the diversity of 30 million Scouts to ensure that respect, friendship and understanding become the culture of emerging generations. | |
