| 1998 | Member of Fidesz-Civic Union, first elected as MP and re-elected in 2002 |
| During her term in Parliament she has served on several committees, currently she is member of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture and Media. | |
| 2003 | Hungarian Civic Union was born, she became the Chairwoman of the Women´s Faction of the Party. In this position, she is in charge of overseeing the establishment of a national network of committed conservative woman, as well as promoting international contacts through our partner organisations. |
