Auszeichnungen

Michael Breidenbrücker earned the best degree as engineer in electronics and information technologies in 1992. He finished his BA (first degree) in arts and audio-visual media design in 1999 at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Prof. Peter Weibel. In 2001, Michael finished his Master degree in audio visual media design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Prof. Karel Dudesek and earned the prize of the ministry of Art and Education. His works have been shown at expositions worldwide, so in the designers monthly magazine in Seoul Korea or at the web 3d art exhibition in Monterey California USA. He held several positions, such as freelance designer in Austria, Germany and the UK or as Director of the London based company Secretforces in 2000. In 2001 Michael was Courseleader of the Master course in Interactive Digital Media at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in London. He is founding member and currently holding the position of CEO of the award winning London based online Music Station Last.fm. Last.fm has won the reputation of a ground braking radio / music service and was featured worldwide such as in wired.com, bbc, telecinco, orf on, der spiegel and several other newspapers / portals and blog sites.
