| Michaela Seelig joined the Austrian Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism as Director for Sustainable Finance and Regional Economic Policy in January 2019. Previously, Ms. Seelig worked as climate advisory and finance specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDBG) in Washington DC, where she advised financial institutions and other private sector client companies on innovative climate friendly investments in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Ms. Seelig has prior experience working on climate action with governments in the LAC region and on Climate Finance reporting. Before joining the IDBG, Ms. Seelig was the Corporate Sustainability Manager at RHI AG, a globally operating manufacturing company and advisor on European and international climate policy at BUSINESSEUROPE in Belgium. |
