| Monika Froehler serves as the CEO of the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens in Vienna. Before that she worked in the team of the former UN SRSG for Sustainable Energy for All Kandeh Yumkella. During her time with the Austrian Foreign Ministry she was advisor and press spokesperson for two Austrian State Secretaries of Foreign Affairs and before that she covered meetings at the United Nations in Vienna and worked for the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations in Geneva. She spent more than 12 years in multilateralism in Geneva, Vienna and New York. As part of the APM Ban Convention Secretariat she managed an EU Grant for the implementation of the Convention. Froehler is an alumna of the Mediterranean Diplomatic Academy and the Vienna Diplomatic Academy. |
