Before coming to the IIF, he was Managing Director and Global Head of Emerging Markets Research at Barclays Capital. He has also worked at the World Bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Bank of England. For most of his career, however, he was at JP Morgan, where he helped build Morgan's global economic research effort. He joined JP Morgan in London in 1988, where he rose to become Head of European Economic Research. He was transferred to New York in 1992 to help build Morgan's international research effort. In 1996, he was promoted to Managing Director. |
