Robert Prosser is an Austrian writer, poet and performer born in 1983. He studied Comparative Literature and Cultural Anthropology and spent several years in Asia, the Middle East, and Great Britain. Prosser has received numerous prizes and grants, most notably from the Robert‐Bosch‐Stiftung, Literarisches Colloquium Berlin as well as the Reinhard‐Priessnitz‐Prize for Literature. He lives in Vienna and Tyrol and is the Austrian curator of Babelsprech, an initiative in charge of the funding of young German‐language poetry. His second novel Phantome (Phantoms) was longlisted for the German Book Prize in 2017, his new novel Gemma Habibi will be published in fall 2019. |
