 Stephan A Jansen is Professor for Management, Innovation & Finance and Head of the »Center for Philanthropy & Civil Society | PhiCS« at Karlshochschule, Karlsruhe, Germany.
 
 He is co-founding managing director of the »Society for Urban Mobility« BICICLI Holding GmbH, Berlin, e.g. for mobility consulting as well as tax privileged bike leasing and corporate bike fleets with systemic fleet services.
 
 He is also co-founding partner of the »Societas for Digital & Social Transformation« with the name »Das 18te Kamel & Komplizen« (The 18th Camel & Accomplices)", Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna.
 
 He served as founding president of Zeppelin University (2003-2014) and as member of several advisory boards and does scientific consulting for corporates, foundations, education institutions as well as ministries and the German government like Chancellor Angela Merkel or the former Vice-Chancelor Peer Steinbrück.
 
 He was Visiting Scholar at Harvard Business School 2000 and 2001 and Visiting Researcher at Stanford University 1999, 2010, 2014-2015.
 
 He is author of more than 200 publications (including 25 books and edited anthologies), especially in the areas of organization, network, leadership and management theory, mergers & acquisitions, philanthropy as well as analyses of educational systems & urban mobility.
 
 He is regular columnist in German daily and weekly journals (e.g. bimonthly in »Brand eins« or »enorm«) and co-editor of the »Zeitschrift für Management (ZfM)«.
