Vinh-Kim Nguyen is a medical anthropologist and physician who works in infectious diseases and emergency care. Over the past five years he has been involved conflict medicine in the Middle East and in the response to Ebola epidemics in Africa. He continues to practice acute care medicine in Canada and with Médecins sans Frontières, teaches Anthropology and Global Health in Geneva, and conducts research on barriers to the elimination of infectious diseases. He is Vice President of MSF Switzerland and incoming Director of the Global Health Centre at the Graduate Institute in Geneva. |
