06 Hunger – Werte – Politik
Europäisches Forum Alpbach in Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität für Bodenkultur Wien | Centre for Development Research
Die Gründe für und die Folgen von Hunger in der Welt sind dokumentiert. Dennoch herrscht kaum Einigkeit in Bezug auf Strategien zur Hungerbekämpfung und zur Sicherstellung des Zugangs zu qualitativ hochwertigen Nahrungsmittel für alle. Globale Akteure beeinflussen das weltweite Ernährungssystem – ihre wirtschaftlichen und politischen Interessen prägen zukünftige Strategien für Ernährungssicherheit. Der Arbeitskreis wird politische, wirtschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Werte diskutieren, die all dem zugrunde liegen. Wie müssen Werte angesichts der gemischten Erfahrungen aus der Vergangenheit verändert werden, um das weltweite Ernährungssystem in Zukunft nachhaltig und gerecht zu machen? Wie kann im Hinblick auf die globalen Ungleichheiten ein Interessensausgleich stattfinden?
