02: Economic Efficiency between Competition and Regulation

-
Hauptschule
Breakout /
German and English language

The success of individual enterprises, as well as economies at large, is determined by their economic efficiency. How do factors like human capital and knowledge, government policies and regulations, incentives and taxation affect the efficiency of companies in our globalised economic world? This working group will focus on the seemingly ubiquitous friction between protectionism and laissez-faire in taxation, migration, energy, trade and a variety of other fields. What kind of political and economic system is best able to attract new business and create opportunities?
