Europäisches Forum Alpbach in Zusammenarbeit mit CEPS – The Centre for European Policy Studies
Diese Arbeitsgruppe bringt hochrangige EU-ExpertInnen, VertreterInnen europäischer Think Tanks, AkademikerInnen und die Presse zusammen, um die aktuelle Rolle der Europäischen Union in der Welt zu beleuchten. Die TeilnehmerInnen werden insbesondere die Rolle und das Potenzial der EU bei der Förderung von verantwortungsvoller Global Governance durch strategische Partnerschaften mit Drittstaaten diskutieren. In diesem Zusammenhang soll auch die Frage behandelt werden, inwieweit ihre zunehmend variable Geometrie die Rolle der EU auf der internationalen Bühne beeinflussen kann.
