Baustelle Conditio Humana – Ausstellungsführung
Achtung: Baustelle betreten erwünscht!
Sechs überlebensgroße Figuren schweben gebeugt, gekippt und wahrhaft lebendig in dem Baugerüst, das direkt ins Congress Centrum führt. Unausweichlich und unmittelbar platziert der ladinische Bildhauer Lois Anvidalfarei seine Skulpturen in ein System der (Ver)spannungen im Hier und Jetzt, im Dialog zwischen Schwerkraft und Zartheit: Je nach Blickwinkel eingeengt oder geborgen macht er die universale Dimension spürbar.
Die Installation ist von 14. bis 30. August 2019 zu besichtigen (ART NON STOP).

Lois ANVIDALFAREI
Sculptor, Alto Adige
Lois Anvidalfarei was born on January 26, 1962 in Alto Adige, South Tyrol. From 1976 to 1981 he attended the State Art School in Ortisei in Val Gardena. In 1983 he began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, where he received his decisive influence as a draftsman and sculptor through the encounter with the work and person of Prof. Joannis Avramidis. After completing his studies, Lois Anvidalfarei returned to his home in 1989. In Alto Adige, he manages the farm he inherited and works as a freelance sculptor. |

David Calas, architect, urbanist and former lecturer at the TU Vienna - Faculty of Architecture, operates between the blurring boundaries of urban planning, architecture, art and politics. Focus of his work at Studio Calas is the relation of design practice and socio-cultural process. The modus operandi concentrates on accessible and clearly communicated design approaches and the implementation of digital inquiry strategies. | |
