In unserer materiell so reichen Gesellschaft herrscht ein permanenter Mangel an Zeit und guter Versorgung. Analysiert werden soll daher der Stellenwert von Care-Arbeit in unserem Wirtschaftssystem. Welche Auswirkungen hatte die Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise und was bedeuten sie für die Geschlechterverhältnisse? Wie kann das System umgestaltet werden, um den erforderlichen Raum für Care-Arbeit zu schaffen, ohne in weiten Bereichen auf unbezahlte Frauenarbeit und prekäre Beschäftigungsverhältnisse angewiesen zu sein? Und welche Kosten entstehen, wenn dieser Umbau nicht gelingt?
