Seit dem Scheitern der Doha-Runde hat sich die Quantität und Qualität regionaler Handelsabkommen signifikant erhöht. Neue Handels- und Investitionsinitiativen wie das Transatlantische Freihandelsabkommen (TTIP) gehen weit über den Umfang traditioneller Abkommen hinaus. Welche wirtschaftlichen Folgen haben diese riesigen regionalen Handelsabkommen für Entwicklungsländer? Wie können Freihandelsabkommen globales integratives Wachstum und wirtschaftliche Konvergenz fördern? Wie kann eine systematische Benachteiligung der Entwicklungsländer verhindert werden?
