Marek CHOLONIEWSKI
Electronic Musician, Krakow
Choloniewski studied organ (with L.Werner), theory of music and composition (with B.Schaeffer) and electronic music (with J.Patkowski) at the Krakow Academy of Music. Choloniewski writes instrumental, electroacoustic, music for theater, film and radio, author of sound and video installations, audio-visual, outdoor and net projects. A world renown lecturer, composer, sound artist and live art performer. He has been giving concerts, workshops and lectures in Europe, North and South America as well as Asia. Piotr GRODECKI
Piano, Krakow
He studied piano with Prof. J. Lukowicz, as well as Interpretation of New Music with Prof. A. Kaczynski at the Academy of Music in Krakow. He specializes in XX and XXI century music. He played in Poland and abroad on many festivals and concerts. His lectures were presented at the International Workshops for New Music Krakow/Stuttgart, as well as at the Internationale Akademie für Neue Komposition und Audio Art in Tirol. |
Mariusz PEDZIALEK
Oboe, Krakow
He studied oboe with E.Szczesniak at the Academy of Music in Krakow, as well as the master classes with Lothar Koch. He is the first oboist at the Krakow Philharmonia. He played many solo concerts, and as a soloist with many famous conductors and orchestras. He cooperated with Nigel Kennedy and Grzegorz Turnau. He was a member of jury of many competitions, as well the member of the several boards of the festivals. He performed and recorded Polish and foreign music for the Polish Radio, Radio France, Hungarian Radio, and PolishTV. He released many CDs. He was a part of many international projects: Ensemble Spiel, Bridges and European Modern Orchestra. He was the part of the concert tour of Nigel Kennedy and Berlin Philharmonics. He was a teacher at the International Academy of New Composition and Audio Art in Tirol. He received several prizes and awards. |
Jan PILCH
Percussion, Krakow
Jan Pilch graduated with distinction from the Cracow's Academy of Music - Prof. J.Stojko class of percussion. As soloist and chamber musician, he has participated frequently in the most important Polish festivals of modern music (Warszawska JesieN, PoznaNska Wiosna, Musica Polonica Nova - WrocLaw, Audio-Art - Kraków, Stuttgart) as well as in festivals in Dresden, Nurnberg (Musik des XX Jahrhunderts), Munich, Moscow, Kyoto, Sendai, Tokyo. | |
He is a founder and member of the Krakowska Grupa Perkusyjna(Cracow's Percussion Group), the "Muzyka Centrum" Artistic Association and the Mr. Bober's Friends Group. He was a member of the Laboratorium Jazz Group and the international Crossover Trio, collaborated with the MW2 Group, Symphonic Orchestra of the Cracow's Philharmonic Society, the Orchestra Giovanile in Lanciano (Italy), Opera Factory in Zurich, Chamber Orchestra in Basel and the musical "Cats". | |
He has numerous radio recordings and records of modern and jazz music as well as of the first performances of works of such composers as K. Moszumanska-Nazar, B. Schaeffer, H. Kulenty, R. Szeremeta. He has given classes during international courses of modern music in Stuttgart, Schwaz (Austria ), Kazimierz nad WisB, Radziejowice and others. In the years 1994-1996 he was a soloist of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria. He is Professor at the Academy of Music in Cracow. He is initiator and director of many international projects, among others International Festival of Percussive Music in Krakow. |
