Dr. Enver HOXHAJ
Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Prishtina
Enver Hoxhaj studied at the Vienna University from 1994 to 2000, where he received his PhD in History, while also serving as Fellow at Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights. Since then he was as Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, University of Vienna. From 2003 to 2004 he has been visiting Research Fellow of the London School of Economics, Centre for Study of the Global Governance. His publications on Southeast European subjects include studies and papers on history and politics of ethnic conflicts, nationalism, human rights violations, international intervention and governance, which have been published in different western journals and books. | |
Currently Enver Hoxhaj is the Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosova and a Member of the Assembly of Kosova. |
Ivan KRASTEV

Ivan Krastev is the chairman of the Centre for Liberal Strategies in Sofia and permanent fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences, Vienna. He is a founding board member of the European Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the Board of Trustees of The International Crisis Group and is a contributing opinion writer for the New York Times. In 2018-2019 Ivan is appointed as the Henry A. Kissinger Chair in Foreign Policy and International Relations at the John W. Kluge Center, Library of Congress. His latest books in English are 'After Europe' (UPenn Press, May 2017) 'Democracy Disrupted. The Global Politics on Protest' (UPenn Press, May 2014); 'In Mistrust We Trust: Can Democracy Survive When We Don't Trust Our Leaders?' (TED Books, 2013). He is a co-author with Stephen Holmes of a forthcoming book 'The Light that Failed' (with Penguin) on perils of the politics of imitation. |

PhD Howard WILLIAMSON
Professor of European Youth Policy, Faculty of Business and Society, University of South Wales, Pontypridd
Dr Howard Williamson is Professor of European Youth Policy at the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom. Previously he worked at the Universities of Oxford, Cardiff and Copenhagen and has held visiting positions at universities and research institutes in Hong Kong, Malta, Croatia, China, France, Australia and Iran. He is a qualified youth worker and ran a youth centre for 25 years in parallel with his academic research. He has advised many levels of governance on youth policy issues, from the Welsh and UK governments, the European Commission, the Council of Europe and the United Nations. He co-ordinated the Council of Europe’s international reviews of national youth policy and wrote three volumes on ‘Supporting Young People in Europe’ drawing lessons from the 21 country reviews. He is a trustee of Grassroots - the Cardiff City Centre Youth Project, the European Forum Alpbach Foundation, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award for Young People. Since 2002, he has been Organisational Secretary of the International Sociological Association Research Committee 34. In 2002, he was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) and, in 2016, a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO). |
