Die Schweiz wird international mit Tradition assoziiert. Jedoch bietet das kleine Alpenland auch eine dynamische Diversität am Markt. Vor allem logitech beweist die Resilienz als Schweizer Unternehmen: Seit Jahren bereits ein Player im Digitalbereich, hat sich logitech in den letzten fünf Jahren neu erfunden und verzeichnet seitdem schwarze Zahlen. CEO Bracken Darrell hat zu diesem internen und externen Wandel beigetragen. Er berichtet in Alpbach von der Logik hinter logitechs Erfolg.

Dr. Dominik ISLER
Chief Executive Officer, Swiss Economic Forum, Interlaken
Dominik Isler holds a degree in International Affairs from University of St. Gallen, where he went to obtain a PhD. After completing his studies, Dr. Isler worked at KKL Culture and Convention Centre in Lucerne, initially as the head of business development and then as head of event management, before serving as COO from 2009 to en 2013. He subsequently managed the Kaufleuten restaurant and club in Zurich. He joined the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) in autumn 2014 as head of business development. He took over as CEO of the SEF in summer 20115, where he is responsible for operational management. |
Bracken P. DARRELL
Chief Executive Officer and President, logitech, Lausanne and Newark
Bracken Darrell joined logitech as president in 2012 and became chief executive officer a year later. In this role he has led a transformation of logitech. | |
He is a proponent of the importance of the liberal arts and design in business, especially of their role in innovating product experiences for consumers. He is an English major from Hendrix College. | |
Bracken brings to logitech experience in product and brand building through design. He has worked around the world on iconic brands like Old Spice, Gillette and Braun, for which he was president. He has spent time at P&G, GE, Gillette, and Whirlpool. Since he took over five years ago, logitech has been a top performer on the SIX Swiss stock exchange and on the NASDAQ. The company’s stock price and profits have more than quadrupled in the same period. |
