2017 heißt Alpbach die Initiative Ethics in Action willkommen. Bei einer Arbeitsklausur bringt sie eine ausgewählte Gruppe an ReligionsvertreterInnen, AkademikerInnen und PraktikerInnen zusammen, um über die moralischen und ethischen Dimensionen aktueller sozialer Probleme zu reflektieren. In diesem Plenum steht „Nachhaltige Entwicklung“ im Vordergrund. Im aktiven Austausch mit TeilnehmerInnen, stellen sich Oberhäupter verschiedener Religionen die Frage, welche Rolle Religion spielen kann, um Gemeinwohl und das gesellschaftliche Wohlergehen zu fördern?
