Ayad AKHTAR

Playwright and Novelist, New York

 Ayad Akhtar. Playwright, novelist, screenwriter. Plays: Disgraced(Pulitzer, Obie, Nestroy, Tony nomination for Best Play); Junk(Kennedy Award for Drama, Tony nomination for Best Play); The Invisible Hand (Obie, Outer Critics Circle, Evening Standard and Olivier nominations); The Who & The What. Fiction: American Dervish (published in over 20 languages worldwide, Book of the Year at Kirkus Reviews, 'O' Magazine, Toronto's Globe and Mail). Screenwriting: The War Within (Independent Spirit nomination for Best Screenplay); Promised Land (HBO); Dream Machine (FX/Scott Rudin). He is the recipient of an Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the 2017 Steinberg Playwriting Award. Akhtar has received fellowships from the American Academy in Rome, MacDowell, the Sundance Institute, and Yaddo, where he serves as a Board Director. He is also a Board Trustee at PEN/America and New York Theatre Workshop.

Amira CASAR

Actress, Paris, London

 The multilingual European Actress Amira studied Drama at the Conservatoire National d'Art Dramatique de Paris. She has starred in 61 prestigious films and TV productions with such "avant-garde" directors as Catherine Breillat: "Anatomie of Hell", Bertrand Bonello, Werner Schroeter, Carlos Saura, The Quay brothers, the TV Series "Versailles" in which she excelled as the dangerous complexe "Beatrice". In 2018 she played in the Luca Guadagnino's Oscar winner, "Call me by your name".
 On stage she has played "Hedda Gabbler", "Jeanne au Bucher" at the Barbican and recently the role of "Olga" in Simon Stone's critically acclaimed "Three sisters" at Odeon Theater in Paris.
 Her recent films soon to be released are "Red Snake", "Curiosa" and "At eternity's gate" by Julian Schnabel.

Martin GRUBINGER

Multi-Percussionist and Moderator, Salzburg

 Technische Perfektion, Spielfreude und musikalische Vielseitigkeit machen Martin Grubinger zum vielleicht besten Multipercussionisten der Welt. Sein Repertoire reicht dabei von solistischen Werken über kammermusikalische Programme mit seinem Percussive Planet Ensemble bis hin zu Solokonzerten. In besonderer Weise hat sich der Salzburger darum verdient gemacht, das Schlagwerk als Soloinstrument in den Mittelpunkt des klassischen Konzertbetriebs zu stellen.
2016/17 war er Artist in Residence in der Elbphilharmonie. Höhepunkte der Saison 2017/18 waren Konzertwochen im Leipziger Gewandhaus und Einladungen vom Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, SWR Symphonieorchester, WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, der Kammerakademie Potsdam, Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg und dem Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. Im Frühjahr 2018 war er auf Tournee mit der Dresdner Philharmonie, später in der Saison mit den Wiener Symphonikern.

Antonia KLUGMANN

Head Chef, L’Argine a Vencò, Dolegna del Collio

 Born in Trieste, Antonia Klugmann, fell in love with cuisine at an early age. Antonia’s first four years in the industry were spent in the kitchen of the young Chef Raffaele
 Mazzolini. In 2006 she opened her own restaurant, Antico Foledor Conte Lovaria near Udine. From 2012 she worked for three years in Venice as Chef of the restaurant Il Ridotto and then the Michelin-starred Venissa. In December 2014, she opened her new owned restaurant, L’Argine a Vencò, in Dolegna del Collio near the Slovenian border. Surrounded by vineyards, the small restaurant has already won a Michelin star. She published the book "Di cuore Di coraggio" to tell her story and to collect 60 key recipes of the first 15 years of her career.

Martin KUŠEJ

Artistic Director, Residence Theatre, Munich

 Martin Kušej, born in Carinthia, Austria, in 1961, studied German Literature and Sports Science before going on to study Directing in Graz. From 1993 onwards, he worked as Director of Schauspiel Stuttgart and worked at Burgtheater in Vienna and at Thalia Theater in Hamburg as well as at Zurich Opera House, at Salzburg and at Bavarian State Opera. In 2005/06, Kušej was appointed Director of Acting at the Salzburg Festival. In 2011 Martin Kušej was appointed director of Residenztheater Munich. He also continued to work internationally, at Royal Opera House in London and at Festival d’Aix en Provence. He will be Artistic Director at the Burgtheater in Vienna starting in the season of 2019/20.
