Stabilität in ganz Europa sicherstellen: Was die EU und die OSZE beitragen können
Stabilität, Demokratie und Frieden voranzutreiben sind gemeinsame Ziele der EU und der OSZE. Arbeiten die beiden Organisationen erfolgreich daran, diese Ziele in der direkten Nachbarschaft der EU zu erreichen? Welche Rolle könnten und sollten sie in der Lösung des Ukrainekonflikts spielen? Wie könnten die Beziehungen zu Russland nachhaltig verbessert werden? Wo gibt es andererseits Positivbeispiele bei der Friedenssicherung und Demokratisierung in der Balkanregion und welche Herausforderungen müssen noch gelöst werden?

Dr. Zanda KALNINA-LUKASEVICA
Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Latvia
Dr. Zanda Kalnina-Lukasevica serves as a Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia since 2014. She represents the government of Latvia at the EU Foreign Affairs Council meetings of Development Ministers and EU Foreign Affairs Council meetings of Trade Ministers. Parliamentary Secretary ensures communication of the Ministry with the Latvian Parliament (Saeima) and the European Parliament. During Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union (2015) Dr. Kalnina-Lukasevica was the representative of the Council at the European Parliament plenary sessions. | |
From 2011 to 2014 she served as a chairperson of the European Affairs Committee of the parliament of Latvia and a chairperson of the Innovation and Research Subcommittee, while serving also as a member of the Economic, Agricultural, Environmental and Regional Policy Committee of the parliament of Latvia. Between 2008 and 2011 Dr. Kalnina-Lukasevica was appointed to the Strategic Analysis Commission of the President of Latvia and served as Adviser on Strategic Planning and Analysis to the President of Latvia. |
