Wie frei ist die Presse? Ein Blick in einige EU-Mitgliedsstaaten
Die Lage der Pressefreiheit hat sich 2019 in mehreren EU Mitgliedstaaten (auch in Österreich) massiv verschlechtert. Die unabhängige Presse, die frei von politischem Druck valide Informationen an die Öffentlichkeit bringt, ist wesentlicher Bestandteil einer funktionierenden Demokratie. Doch wer stellt sicher, dass das Recht auf Presse- bzw. Medienfreiheit auch wirksam wird?
