in englischer SpracheDie Arbeitswelt hat in den letzten Jahrzehnten viele Veränderungen erlebt: flexible Arbeitsverhältnisse, das neue Mittelklasse-Prekariat, anhaltendes geschlechtsspezifisches Lohngefälle oder die Verschlechterung des makro-ökonomischen Klimas sind nur einige häufige Schlagwörter aus den vergangenen Jahren. Dieses Seminar konzentriert sich auf die Verbindung zwischen Arbeit und Makro-Ökonomie. Was sind die Effekte von sinkenden Löhnen auf Arbeitslosigkeit und Produktion? Ist die europäische Krise mit Verteilung und Ungleichheit verbunden? Was sind die lang anhaltenden Faktoren hinter dem steigenden Gewinnanteil in vielen europäischen Ländern?
