Sonderveranstaltung: Strategieempfehlungen zur FTI Internationalisierung
Die österreichische Bundesregierung hat sich in ihrer 2011 veröffentlichten FTI Strategie „Der Weg zum Innovation Leader“ zum Ziel gesetzt, dass Österreich in die Gruppe der Innovation Leader in Europa aufsteigt. Im Kapitel „Internationale Positionierung“ der FTI-Strategie wird die Notwendigkeit betont, dass sich Österreich gegenüber den wichtigsten FTI-Regionen der Erde stärker strategisch positioniert.
Zur Ausarbeitung von Strategieempfehlungen zur Internationalisierung der FTI über die EU hinaus hat die FTI Task Force die Arbeitsgruppe „Internationalisierung und FTI Außenpolitik“ eingerichtet. Diese setzt sich aus Vertreter/innen von bmvit, BMWF, BMWFJ sowie BMeiA unter Einbindung von Stakeholdern zusammen und wird von BMWF und bmvit geleitet.
Im Zuge dieser Sonderveranstaltung werden die erarbeiteten Strategieempfehlungen erstmals der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert und zur Diskussion gestellt.
