Bieke ZAMAN
Assistant Professor, Human-Computer Interaction and Digital Humanities, Mintlab, Institute of Media Studies, KU Leuven
Bieke Zaman is assistant professor at the Meaningful Interactions Lab (Mintlab), part of the Institute of Media Studies of the KU Leuven, Belgium. She graduated from the KU Leuven in 2004 as a master in Communication Sciences, obtained post academic degrees in Usability Design (2005) and Web Development (2007), and a doctoral degree in Social Sciences (2011, KU Leuven). Fascinated by the tech side of social, and the social side of tech, Zaman pursues research programs on digital media, children and interaction design from the perspective of communication sciences and Human-Computer Interaction research. Her work has so far resulted in more than 60 international publications including peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. At the KU Leuven, Zaman is lecturing courses on Media and Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Qualitative Research, Media Research and Innovation, and Emerging Technologies and Applications. Currently she is supervising five Ph.D. dissertations that deal with amongst others remote tangible engagements, television consumption in Brazil, participatory design with children, creative dissemination methods, and gamification. |
Claudia ZETTEL

Claudia Zettel studierte Publizistik an der Universität Wien. Sie startete ihre journalistische Laufbahn 2005 bei der pressetext Nachrichtenagentur GmbH. Dort wirkte sie ab 2009 als Stellvertreterin des CVD. Ab 2010 wechselte sie als Redakteurin zu der Tageszeitung Kurier und dem Portal futurezone, das der Kurier vom ORF übernommenen hatte. Im Februar 2014 wurde sie stellvertretende Leiterin des Ressorts "Digital/futurezone". Claudia Zettel ist seit Jänner 2016 Chefredakteurin der futurezone. |
