Heuer jährt sich der Todestag von Sigmund Freud zum 75. Mal. Eine Gruppe von Studierenden der Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London entwickelt in Alpbach unter professioneller Regie von Nona Shepphard und Joseph Kloska eine Performance, die dem Arzt und Erfinder der Psychoanlyse gewidmet ist. Freud musste 1938 wenige Monate nach dem Einmarsch der Nationalsozialisten Wien verlassen und verstarb 1939 in London.

Die 1904 gegründete Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London ist eine der renommiertesten Schauspielschulen Englands, aus der weltbekannte Namen wie Ralph Fiennes, Anthony Hopkins und Roger Moore hervorgegangen sind.

Nona SHEPPHARD

 Nona Shepphard is a freelance writer, director and deviser with over 150 productions and 40 commissioned plays to her credit. Her plays for a young audience recieved several awards and have been presented in the USA, Canada, Europe and Russia. Among her most recent writings are: "Signs of a Star-Shaped Diva" for GraeaeTheatre Company/Theatre Royal Stratford and Therese Raquin a musical version of Emile Zola's novel. She is the Associate Director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and Creative Director of RADA Enterprises.
