Mr. Linn will consider similarities and differences in „financial cultures“
between the US and Europe and within Europe from the perspective of a long-time
international civil servant in one of the international financial institutions.
He will compare financial cultures across national boundaries, but also across
institutional lines, with similarities at times stronger across than within
countries. He will draw out some tentative implications for the governance and
management of global economic and financial relations.
