Community Calls aim to strenghen the network of the Alpbach Community through enhancing exchange on a regular basis. 

Starting in December 2021, the European Forum Alpbach together with its partner ERSTE Group offers a monthly reunion in which young, outstanding Europeans and gamechangers who have the courage to change Europe will present their ideas and initiatives. 

Because we #believeineurope.

Upcoming Call: Thursday, 16 December 2021, 18.30-19.30 CET

To kick off the series, we will focus on the topic “Debates in Polarizing Times – Initiatives from Civil Society” on 16 December. With Daniel Privitera from streitgut, a platform which develops innovative formats for democratic debates in social media, and Aleksandra Mirkowicz, member of the winning team “A New Reality – Exploring Our Common Ground” at the Alpbach Challenges, we will discuss how debating culture – in the online and offline world – can be strengthened.  

Streitgut is one of six processes that have been selected by ANSTOSS Demokratie for further implementation. More information on ANSTOSS Demokratie can be found here.
