Architecture Symposium

-

Spatial planning and aspects of environment and climate protection are no longer seen as separate worlds today, but instead as two sides of one coin. For instance, the question arises what the benefits of low-energy construction are if lacking public transport infrastructure raises the cost of mobility beyond the savings achieved in construction. In addition to spatial and ecological issues, the current development of settlements also brings up questions of the preservation of cityscapes and landscapes. In this context, the discussion will focus on the topics of residential construction, office buildings and commercial buildings. What are the requirements of the players involved and of the users? What are the current parameters and steering tools of planning and the legal framework - and what new parameters should be introduced?
