Cultural Programme

The art and cultural programme is part and parcel of the European Forum Alpbach; established artists as well as art students are present in Alpbach. In close cooperation with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and the University of Applied Arts Vienna younger artists are supported. Their artistic productions are the result of an intensive confrontation with Alpbach and the general theme.

The centerpiece of the cultural programme is a compilation of artistic contributions to the opening of all Alpbach symposia according to the programme section "Culture first". In addition, the European Forum Alpbach invites you to enjoy exhibitions, theatrical interventions, performances, concerts and lectures free of charge.
