Cultural Programme

Culture has a long tradition at the European Forum Alpbach. Every year we commission a piece of music which is premiered at the opening of the Forum. The cultural programme harmoniously combines traditional with modern elements, offering the audience a great variety of performances and events ranging from classical music and Jazz to theatre, cabaret, film, literature, digital art, paintings or installations.

This year, we aim to achieve a stronger integration of arts and culture in the conference programme. Hence every Symposium will be connected to certain highlights of the cultural programme. The spectrum is varied and includes film screenings, readings or performances, all relating to the topics of the respective Symposium.
