Health Symposium
-No other sector of society is as highly contested by varying interests and needs as healthcare. At the heart of this contestation lies the questions of how to ensure healthy people remain healthy, how to help ill people become healthy again, and how to obtain the best possible care for all. The goal is evident; the pathways to achieve it less so: the myriad solutions weave between conflict and cooperation.
Where and when is it advisable to seak greater cooperation? Which conflicts do we need to negotiate to induce the necessary changes?
The programme of the Health Symposium starts with the big picture before diving in to investigate in more detail: from a global comparison of different health systems to the question of regional supply of the latest medications, and to the communication between health staff and patients.
