Cultural programme

Culture can look back on a long and healthy tradition at the European Forum Alpbach. Every year, the forum commissions musical compositions, and countless works of performing art have premiered in Alpbach. Many young artists who have performed in Alpbach have gone on to enjoy successful international careers. In the summer of 2006, the Alpbach cultural program will again comprise special events which go far beyond the limits of most programs. This year s program is also dedicated to the forum s general theme,  The Quest for Certainty and Security. Traditional and modern elements will merge to form a harmonious whole: This year s cultural offerings range from music and dance performances to exhibitions as well as readings and lectures, and all participants in the European Forum Alpbach 2006 are cordially invited to attend these unique cultural events.
