Networking in the EU

Networking and Lobbying are the preconditions for successful EU work. At the European level, this requires sometimes a different approach than at the national level. Brussels based lobbyists, practitioners from EU institutions and national administrations as well as representatives of European business associations and the media will report on their experience in this field. What is the key to successful lobbying? How do the decision-making processes in the Council, the European Parliament and the Commission work? How do high-ranking recipients of lobbying perceive the actual possibilities of influencing EU decisions? What about the ethics of lobbying? These are just some of the questions, which will be answered during the seminar, which will be held in English. This seminar is intended especially for business people, representatives of interest groups and civil servants concerned with EU issues as well as students and young academics.
