Networking in the European Union

Objective is the presentation of the specific kind of networking necessary for successful EU work - as an international civil servant, a representative of an EU country or of a candidate country or lobby member. Lobby members in Brussels and practitioners from EU institutions and national administrations will report on their concrete experience in this field. Topics to be discussed will include: Networking in preparation for a Commission proposal; Lobbying at the European Parliament, in EU decision-making bodies and within the framework of CFSP; domestic coordination for the purpose of representing national interests effectively.

This seminar is intended especially for business people, interest group representatives and civil servants concerned with EU issues as well as interested students and young academics.
