Political Symposium

"Old Alliances - New Partnerships" is the topic of the Alpbach Political Symposium. Basing the discussion on the general topic "Perception and Decision", we will deal with changes in established structures, and will analyse new developments in the international system. We will search for bilateral and regional forms of co-operation in Europe, and assess the relations to the most important strategic partners, the US and Russia. The aim is to first grasp the different perceptions of various phenomena, so that we can understand the processes, developments and decisions depending on these perceptions.
