Technology Forum

-

The Alpbach Technology Forum as part of the European Forum Alpbach has long been a highly respected fixture in Austria's research and technology scene. Due to its international focus it has also become an indicator for new trends, setting benchmarks for technological developments.

It is a challenge and an opportunity for all those involved in the innovation process to bring "construction and reality" in line in a productive, future-oriented and sustainable way also in research and technology. From energy systems to robotics, from digital (media) technologies to genomic research, the 2010 Alpbach Technology Forum will present state-of-the-art approaches and applications. Numerous plenary sessions and ten working groups will join together top experts from Europe, Asia and the United States of America. In order to include the future generations, "Junior Alpbach" and the "Ö1 Children's University" will be integral parts.

Alpbach is an ideal place for networking. The ambience of this cosmopolitan alpine village provides a perfect background for the encounter of science, politics and industry. The successful crossover between scientific disciplines is reflected in the ever increasing number of participants and in the support of numerous sponsors to whom we are especially grateful.
