Technology Symposium
-The Alpbach Technology Forum is Austria's most important discussion platform for politics, the economy, science and academics. This year's objective is to identify the value of technological achievements for the economy and society and to point out examples of success for increasing Austria's competitiveness.
The plenary sessions will include discussions on a wide variety of technology topics, making clear the in-terdisciplinary nature of these areas of influence. Renowned figures from politics, science and academia as well as high-profile executives from Austrian and international companies will discuss the various topics with plenary participants and in each work group. Junior Alpbach offers young people the opportunity to understand complex technology issues in simplified form. Off-Alpbach offers a new target group the op-portunity to play a role in the interaction of artistic performance with research and technology.
