University Forum

The 2009 University Forum, as part of the European Forum Alpbach, will offer a comprehensive overview of the Austrian universities' research output in the Computational Sciences, thus hoping to garner the interest of potential cooperation partners from the private and public sectors. A series of short lectures from leading academics will highlight the breadth of Austrian research in this field, and the illustrate the wide variety of its potential applications. Connecting the Universities Forum to the general topic of the European Forum Alpbach, "Trust", the event will also address the question how the Computational Sciences and their heuristic methods might create new trust in scientific results.
