University Forum

The University Forum of 2010 will offer a comprehensive overview of the achievements of Austrian universities in the field of arts-based research. The focus will be on those processes of artistic production which are accompanied by reflection and they lead to general increase of knowledge in society. Connecting the University Forum to the general topic

of the European Forum Alpbach 'Construction and reality' issues concerning the

relationship between art and society, in particular with regard to the interplay between the art market, the media and political art are on the agenda.
