Expectations - The Future of the Young

The concepts of sustainability and intergenerational justice are ubiquitous. One cannot help but notice, however, that the dialogue the generations are leading about the future viability of our society is getting more and more jejune. By picking up the topic "Expectations - The Future of the Young" in Alpbach, we want to build a resilient bridge between the generations. Our aim is to establish a dialogue about three kinds of expectations: What are the expectations of the younger generation? What expectations are directed at them? And finally, what "heritage" and what "hereditary diseases" will future generations have to deal with? In order to stimulate and foster this dialogue, the "young" will be included considerably more into the various discussion formats of the Forum.
