DI Dr. Emmanuel GLENCK Bereichsleiter, Thematische Programme, FFG - Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH, Wien

	As a chemical engineer (ETH Lausanne) he has a background in industrial chemistry, environmental management and environmental policy. He has got his Ph.D. in 1994 (ETH-Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich)
	He held different positions in Switzerland (ETH Lausanne, Swiss Academy of Natural Sciences, ETH Zürich, EAWAG), Israel (Haifa Oil Refineries), France (Troyes University of Technology) and in Austria (Vienna University of Technology, Firma Data Organisation-Consulting OEG, Bureau for International Research and Technology Cooperation, Austrian Space Agency).
	His professional interests are now focused on high-tech and mission oriented R&D funding programmes taking account social and economical constraints. He is working for the FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency) acting as Director of the Division for Thematic Programmes funded in April 2005.
