 Education has been a constant theme in life, not only for himself, but also a driving conviction to help young people achieve their full potential.
 He is recognized as an expert in the field of Education having risen to become the Deputy Minister of Education in Saudi Arabia.
 
 He is also an Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Supervisor General of the King Abdulaziz Public Library in Riyadh.
 He served as a Board member to several prestigious organizations, for instance, UNESCO and the Board of the Foundation Du Roi Abdulaziz Al-Saud Pour Les Etudes Islamiques et les Sciences Humanes in Casablanca, Morocco.
 Since 2009 Faisal bin Muaammar has been an influential Board Member of the World Scout Foundation, where he has passionately supported "non-formal" education as a means of developing leadership ability for young boys and girls. In addition, he was instrumental in promo- ting a project called "Messengers of Peace" which is a unique initiative to harness the diversity of 30 million Scouts to ensure that respect, friendship and understanding become the culture of emerging generations.
 He has been at the forefront of interacting with people of different ideologies to facilitate understanding while promoting civility and the common values of humanity.
 He is now the first Secretary General to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious Dialogue and Intercultural Dialogue in Vienna.
