Early articles in The Harvard Business Review (1968, 1971 and 1973) predicted the necessary overhauling of conventional economic theory to take account of pollution, resource depletion and social costs which textbooks held could be "externalized" from company balance sheets and national accounts: GDP/GNP. These and other articles in The Financial Analysts Journal, the New York Times (1971) and other publications were published in her first book Creating Alternative Futures. Her editorials appear in 27 languages and more than 200 newspapers syndicated by InterPress Service. Most recently, she is author of Ethical Markets: Growing the Green Economy (2007) and The Power of Yin (2007). |
