Jan DEKKER President of the TNO Board of Management

CV

 Jan Alexander Dekker (1939) studied Applied Physics at the Delft University of Technology.
 After finishing his studies in 1964, Jan Dekker joined the Dutch multinational AKZO (polymers, coatings, etc) where he made a career in R&D and production.
 He became manager of international projects and subsequently General Manager of Nichemtex, a Nigeria-based daughter company of AKZO.
 In 1985 Jan Dekker became CEO of nv GTI Holding, a company involved in electrical and mechanical contracting.
 In 1995 the Dutch Queen approved his new function as President of the Board of Management of the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO).
