| He has worked as manager and physician at the regional Home Care Organisation in Groningen. Since 1993 he was involved in the founding of KITTZ, the Institute for Quality and Applied Home Care Innovations. Innovations in Home Healthcare, especially applications of technology were key issues. Jan has been project leader and contributed to several projects in The Netherlands and some in Europe. Examples of issues addressed in these projects are: Seniors and Technology, Design for All, Telemonitoring (a.o. European project SAFE 21), Telecare, Video communication in home health care, Taskforce Handicap and Society, User research, Informal caregivers and technology. |
