 Johannes Jäger has been co-ordinating the Economics Department at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna since 2003. His main research interests are the political economy of the financial sector and regional economic developments. He previously held a post as Assistant Professor at the Institute for International Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and worked as a researcher at the the Institute for Urban and Regional Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He obtained his masters degree (1996) and his PhD (2001) in economics at the University of Economics and Business Administration, Vienna.

Mitgliedschaften

Johannes Jäger is a member of the board of directors at the Mattersburger Kreis for Development Policy at the Austrian Universities, located in Vienna. Moreover, he is a member of the editorial board of the Journal für Entwicklungspolitik and of the Cahier de la Recherche ISC.
